In a milestone event at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi, the UAE-France Business Dialogue convened under the distinguished presence of HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic; and Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar.
Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, highlighted the significance of France in Masdar’s growth, emphasizing, “France has been central to Masdar’s growth from the very beginning and represents our broadest partner base.” Key partnerships with French industrial leaders including TotalEnergies, EDF, and ENGIE have been foundational, demonstrating what “long-term trust and shared ambition can deliver.”
With the Age of Intelligence and electrification accelerating global electricity demand, both nations stand poised to advance clean energy leadership. “As electricity demand continues to grow… our opportunity to lead together is greater than ever,” stated Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi.
The dialogue also reinforced commitment to deepening investment and accelerating the delivery of clean energy solutions, strengthening both energy security and economic competitiveness. The well-established UAE-France bilateral relationship serves as the cornerstone for this accelerated global energy transition.
Building on enduring cooperation, the event underscored a unified vision: deploying sustainable solutions at scale, aligning infrastructure readiness, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the world’s rising energy needs. The strategic alignment between the UAE and France is positioned to serve as a benchmark for international collaboration in advancing the clean energy agenda.
