President Kast Launches “Choose Chile” to Boost the Country’s International Standing
This morning, President José Antonio Kast spearheaded the launch of Choose Chile, a new international platform designed to strengthen Chile’s global image and promote its potential for investment, technological development, and economic growth. The event gathered key dignitaries including Foreign Affairs Minister Francisco Pérez Mackenna, InvestChile’s Acting Director Juan Pablo Candia, government authorities, the diplomatic corps, business associations, academia, the scientific community, and multinational company representatives.
Choose Chile was established to showcase Chile’s strengths as an exporting nation and a prime destination for investment, innovation, business development, and the attraction of talent from around the world.

Minister Pérez Mackenna underlined Chile’s robust commercial advantages, emphasizing the nation’s capacity to expand the reach of Chilean products and services abroad. He cited Chile’s strong productive foundation, recognized standards, and preferential access to 66 global economies.
The business community was represented by Camillo Scocco, General Manager of Italian firm Fruticola Agrichile, S.A. (Ferrero Group), who shared his company’s positive experience and highlighted the opportunities found in Chile.
A major announcement during the launch was the first-ever Choose Chile Summit, scheduled for March 2027. This summit will bring together investors, technology companies, and international stakeholders to gain firsthand insights into Chile’s productive capabilities and investment opportunities. Organized by ProChile and InvestChile, the summit will feature a main program in Santiago, with business meetings, bilateral encounters, on-site visits to projects and companies across regions, and a dedicated program for international media outlets.
Choose Chile positions the country as a forward-looking hub for exporting, investing, and talent attraction, further consolidating its role as an economic leader in the region.
