Calidus Holding Group Showcases UAE’s Defence Innovations at DSA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, 20th April, 2026 – Calidus Holding Group is taking part in the Defence Service Asia Exhibition and Conference 2026 (DSA 2026), held from 20th to 23rd April in Kuala Lumpur, as an integral part of the UAE national pavilion.

This participation demonstrates the rapid growth of the national defence industry and strengthens the Group’s presence on the global defence map. It also acts as a platform for knowledge exchange, the reinforcement of partnerships, and the opportunity to showcase locally developed technological capabilities on a global stage.

The Group’s presence at DSA 2026 aligns with its strategic focus on Southeast Asian markets and its broader ambition to expand into these promising regions. It also highlights Calidus’ commitment to the UAE leadership’s directives and vision to cultivate an advanced defence industrial ecosystem built on innovation and local manufacturing. These efforts further contribute to national capability development and reinforce the UAE’s standing as both a regional and global hub for defence industries.

At the exhibition, Calidus is unveiling a selection of its most prominent integrated defence solutions, all of which have been designed, developed, and manufactured in the UAE by highly qualified Emirati talent. This display serves as a practical demonstration of the Group’s advanced manufacturing prowess.

In the land systems domain, Calidus is putting a spotlight on platforms such as the new Mezyad 001 vehicle, notable for its operational readiness, mobility, manoeuvrability, and seamless integration with modern weapon and sensor systems. Other showcased vehicles include models of the multi-role Mezyad 005, the 8×8 armoured fighting vehicle Sweihan—one of the world’s latest armoured combat solutions—the multi-purpose MCAV, the Al Wahash vehicle, the Al Washag reconnaissance vehicle designed for surveillance missions, and the LAHAB 155mm L52 state-of-the-art artillery system.

For maritime solutions, the Group is highlighting a model of the PV38 patrol vessel, an advanced naval platform engineered for maritime security, surveillance, and coastal protection tasks with maximum efficiency.

In the air systems segment, Calidus is displaying a model of the renowned Badr‑250 (B‑250) light attack aircraft—a crowning achievement of the national aerospace industry—combining operational effectiveness with superior flexibility for close air support missions. Accompanying this is a model of the B‑250T training aircraft, designed to rigorously prepare pilots to the highest industry standards.

Among the key exhibits are also advanced models of the AlHeda missile systems, which provide high targeting accuracy and enhanced operational performance, thereby supporting force readiness and an effective response to diverse threats.

The Group’s participation goes far beyond simply displaying products; it serves as a strategic message underscoring the capability of Emirati talent to develop defence systems that adhere to the highest global standards. Calidus’ solutions are tailored to meet the needs of modern operational environments with both reliability and efficiency.

Furthermore, this engagement underscores the Group’s unwavering commitment to expanding its international footprint and forging robust strategic partnerships across Asian markets. This approach will support the export of national defence products and create new channels for collaboration with defence and security stakeholders.

Calidus is eager to explore new avenues for collaboration through meetings with leaders and representatives from other participating companies. The Group plans to present its innovative solutions to meet national defence requirements and broaden its global presence. Additionally, Calidus aims to strengthen national supply chains to foster greater self-reliance, promote technology transfer, and keep pace with the latest industry advancements. This highlights the UAE’s ability to deliver defence products rooted in innovation, artificial intelligence integration, and drives regional and international expansion, thus cementing the UAE’s stature as a leading force in the global defence industry.
