Hilton Opens New Regional Headquarters in Ras Al Khaimah Supporting Tourism Growth and Economic Diversification

Ras Al Khaimah Accelerates Tourism Growth with Inauguration of Hilton Group Regional Headquarters Ras Al Khaimah, 16th September 2025 – H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized the emirate’s ongoing tourism development as a direct result of an ambitious vision to diversify the economy and reinforce Ras Al Khaimah’s standing as a global destination for tourism, living, working, and investment. During the inauguration of the new Hilton Group headquarters at “RAKEZ Business Centre 1” in the Al Nakheel area, H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr highlighted that tourism is now a cornerstone of sustainable growth, a vital attractor of investment, and a powerful job creator. The new offices will serve as a central hub for the group, supporting accounting and IT operations for 48 hotels across ten countries. The event was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Managing Director of Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Guy Hutchinson, President of Hilton in the Middle East and Africa, and several senior officials. “The opening of the new office is a qualitative addition to the tourism infrastructure of the emirate, and it strengthens its position as a preferred destination for visitors from around the world, thanks to its unique natural and human resources, as well as strategic investments in the hospitality sector,” H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr said. He commended Hilton’s pioneering contributions to the growth of the emirate’s tourism sector and underscored Ras Al Khaimah’s dedication to furthering its strategic partnerships with stakeholders—consolidating the emirate’s reputation on the global stage. The ceremony included a ribbon-cutting by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr, followed by a comprehensive briefing on the office’s modern facilities and integrated services, which are poised to enhance Hilton’s presence and operations in Ras Al Khaimah. These facilities will also support the expansion of Hilton’s existing technology center at RAKEZ and foster regional and UAE-wide growth. For his part, Guy Hutchinson expressed gratitude for the inauguration led by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr and acknowledged ongoing government support for tourism and hospitality. Hutchinson stated, “The emirate has today become one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the region, thanks to its attractive investment environment and advanced infrastructure, and that it holds a prominent place within Hilton’s future expansion plans.” He also mentioned Hilton’s long-standing presence of more than 20 years in Ras Al Khaimah and emphasized the benefits of the RAKEZ Business Centre location and accessibility.
