Chilean Startup ChucaoTech Shines on Global Stage with 2nd Place Win at Supernova Challenge

ChucaoTech, a Chilean technology company specializing in advanced environmental and digital monitoring solutions, made international headlines this week by securing 2nd place at the prestigious Supernova Challenge, hosted during Expand North Star and GITEX Global, the world’s largest exhibition for technology and startups.

This year’s highly competitive event featured over 1,700 startups from around the globe, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in fields such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, fintech, and digital transformation. Among the global contenders, ChucaoTech stood out as the only Latin American company to be shortlisted — a testament to its scientific rigor, technological innovation, and unwavering commitment to sustainability.

Taking the stage on behalf of the company was Tomás Bravo Hepp, ChucaoTech’s co-founder, who impressed judges and potential investors alike with the startup’s groundbreaking solutions and impact-driven philosophy.

“We are extremely proud and grateful to have obtained 2nd place in this world-class competition,” said Tomás Bravo Hepp, co-founder of ChucaoTech. “This recognition validates the talent and innovation coming from Chile and motivates us to continue developing technologies with a positive impact.”

The company also expressed its gratitude to ProChile, the Chilean government’s export promotion agency, for supporting its journey to the global stage. ChucaoTech participated as part of the Innovation Summit Chile–Dubai 2025 and the Chile Pavilion at Expand North Star, initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility of Chilean entrepreneurs in international markets.

This accomplishment is more than just an individual success story. It highlights Chile’s growing emergence as a hub for innovation and talent in Latin America. With a strong focus on education, sustainable technologies, and global collaboration, Chile continues to shape its identity as a key player in the world’s evolving technology landscape.
